Inweb can offer very competitive returns on your premium rate services. Set up of premium rate numbers is free and the number can be administered through the Inweb telecoms control panel. Details of the price return on the different premium rate ranges are provided in the table below.

Charges to the caller include VAT and rebate prices exclude VAT. If you have a high volume of premium rate traffic, please call us for a bespoke quotation.

We can either deliver your calls to an existing landline or call centre, or alternatively we can answer your calls using our high-capacity interactive voice response (IVR) system. Our IVR can play out messages and email your customers’ responses to you instantly. We also offer custom IVR design and building services if your call handling needs are not already covered by our portfolio of existing call flows.

ICSTIS, the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services:
ICSTIS regulates the content and promotion of premium rate telephone services. ICSTIS is responsible for setting and reviewing standards relating to the content and promotion of premium rate services advertised in the UK through its Codes of Practice. It investigates public complaints, monitors services, recommends measures to achieve compliance with the Code and publishes information relating to its work.

If your service falls into one of these categories, ICSTIS needs to approve the service prior to it going live:
  1. Services involving two-way live conversation
  2. Services to cost more than £1 per minute where the total can exceed £20
  3. All consumer credit services
  4. All Mobile Originating (MO) and Mobile Terminating (MT) SMS chat and contact and dating services
  5. All Directory Enquiry (DQ) services

For these services we require a contract stating that you will abide by the ICSTIS code of practice.

Rebate Billing:
Inweb will send you a breakdown of your rebate on the 24th of the month following the month in which the calls were made. We will also notify you of any deductions. Deductions may occur by order of ICSTIS or by an A1 retention notice by BT where they or another operator suspects fraud or other artificial inflation of traffic. You then bill Inweb for the rebate amount and add VAT if appropriate. We pay your invoice on 14th of the following month.
