Special rate numbers (those beginning with 08) can be charged at up to 10p per minute,
or per call.
Common applications for numbers in this range are for internet dial-up access, competition lines and freephone service numbers.
All special rate numbers are free to set up and can all be maintained via the Inweb Telecoms control panel. Please use the tables below for details on the costs and revenue generation on the different numbers.

0845:
An 0845 number is useful for establishing a nationally available number which is
charged at BT’s standard local rate from anywhere in the country.
It costs approximately 3ppm peak, 1ppm off-peak and 1ppm at weekends to call an 0845 number from your BT landline. Inweb can now re-direct calls from an 0845 number to a BT landline at no cost to the owner and setup is also free so why not grab a number now? 0870:
An 0870 number is charged at BT’s standard national rate and is useful for setting up a service with a national feel.
An 0870 number can be set up free of charge to direct to a landline or a mobile. When directed to a landline there is no ongoing charge but if the number is redirected to a mobile there are some costs involved. The table below shows the cost for 0870 delivered to a BT landline and the major mobile networks.
